Nature. I am a big fan of watching and trying to understand the ways in which the natural world transforms and recreates in an endless cycle. Regrowth and adaptation are great ways to approach many things in life!

      • What inspires you about working with tech companies?

Having been on all sides of the table from sell-side, buy-side, startup operations, and advisory, I feel that I can bring a unique lens to emerging growth companies. I am thrilled by those challenging the norms and building new solutions to disrupt, and I also just enjoy the diligence and dealmaking process as a whole. Very rarely do you get to surround yourself with changemakers ... I get to do it on a daily basis across every industry sector and stage of finance.

      • Tell us about one of your mentors.

My mentor was always one of the smartest investors in the board room. I always recalled that what he would say in the first 5 minutes of the meeting would take the others 2 hours to arrive to the same conclusion for themselves. In which they would of course plant the flag on the moon. Acumen is something that is built, not bought.
