  • What inspires you about working with tech companies?

Working with tech companies inspires me because of their relentless drive to push the boundaries of what's possible. Collaborating with some of the brightest minds in the world keeps me constantly challenged to stay ahead of the curve, ensuring that my legal strategies are as innovative and forward-thinking as the technologies themselves. Being at the forefront of these developments allows me to play a critical role in shaping the future, ensuring that groundbreaking ideas are not only protected but also thrive in a complex legal environment.

  • Where do you find inspiration in life?

I find inspiration in helping others think and grow big. Whether it’s guiding focused individuals through strategic decisions or contributing to society’s evolution in everyday matters, I’m driven by the impact that thoughtful guidance and support can have. Empowering others to expand their horizons, think creatively, and achieve their full potential is what fuels my passion, both in my professional life and beyond.

I am a board certified optometrist. I have a degree in optical engineering.

  • What technology are you most excited to see develop?

I'm most excited to see the evolution of AI, as it is poised to transform every facet of life for the better. The implications of AI are vast and far-reaching, with the potential to enhance industries, improve daily living, and address global challenges in ways we've never imagined. We are privileged to witness and contribute to what I believe is the greatest scientific progression made in a single generation, and the prospect of being part of this transformative era is incredibly inspiring.

  • What do you consider the best innovation since the internet?

I’m so certain that AI will advance at such a rapid pace that, before long, this question will naturally shift to focus entirely on AI. Needless to say, I’m most excited to see the evolution of AI, as it is poised to transform every facet of life for the better. I love working with founders who are passionate about finding innovative solutions in the market.

    • If you weren't a tech lawyer, what would you do?

I love what I do, but if I weren't a tech lawyer I would probably be working in the music industry. Prior to law school, I worked as a singer/songwriter and I still play some small shows for fun!

A perfect weekend would involve my two rescue pups and fiance, ideally with a good book, some time spent in nature, and a glass of red wine.

    • Tell us about a favorite book, work of art or piece of music?

I will read anything by Kurt Vonnegut, but my all-time favorite is "The Sirens of Titan."

      • What inspires you about working with tech companies?

We have the opportunity to work with some incredible founder teams in the early stages of their company’s growth and join them on their journey.

      • What inspired you to become an emerging companies and venture capital lawyer?

The level of disruption innovation that technology has produced in the last 15 years and then seeing the emergence of London as a real technology hub with a vibrant ecosystem of creators.

      • If you weren't a tech lawyer, what would you do?

I’ve no idea whether I’d be any good, but I’ve always been envious of architects. It’s a pipe dream but I'd love to be able to design my own home.
