Having grown up in Fort Kent, Maine, a town of ~3,000 at the top of the continental US (and end of Route 1), I never dreamt I'd be working with entrepreneurs and investors—it wasn't even something we were tangentially aware of. Years later, after graduating from University of Maine and later Vanderbilt Law School, I returned to the closest city to my family and friends in Maine, landing in Boston.
