Pietro Fazzini, senior associate in the Milan office, is a member of the Corporate Group.
Pietro has a specific experience in M&A and Private Equity and Venture Capital transactions and a notable experience in capital markets transactions (IPOs, rights issues, and bond issues). In this field, he advises both private and public Italian and foreign companies in connection with national and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
He also has a significant experience in advising corporate boards and shareholders of large companies on corporate governance issues.
In the most recent years Pietro has also developed a specific expertise in the technology industry (including in particular the fintech, energytech and cleantech, cybersecurity, and AI sectors) working alongside start-up, scale-ups, and venture capital funds in connection with investment transactions and tech transactions.
Pietro graduated from Bocconi University in 2013 and earned a Ph.D. in corporate law at Università degli Studi di Milano in 2020. He has authored several publications in the fields of corporate law and corporate governance and since 2016 has been a teaching assistant in company law and advanced company law at Bocconi University.
Before joining Orrick, Pietro has worked in the Milan office of a major international law firm and at a notary public firm focused on corporate matters.
