Orrick partner Jeremy Kudon, head of the firm’s Public Policy practice, is among the influencers cited in this New York Times feature on the increasing momentum to legalize sports betting in states across the country.

The Sunday magazine story examines the efforts of professional sports owners, mobile operators, and casinos to persuade policymakers of the merits of legalizing sports betting through sound regulation in the aftermath of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling last year permitting New Jersey to legalize sports betting.
