Orrick Santa Monica Team Advises Clutter on $64 Million Series C Financing

Orrick’s Technology Companies Group in Santa Monica has advised Clutter, a Los Angeles-based on-demand storage and technology company, in its $64 million Series C financing, led by venture capital firm Atomico. Other investors included Sequoia Capital, GV and Venice-based Fifth Wall Ventures.

Incorporated in 2013, Clutter has grown to more than 200 employees with operations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, New Jersey, San Diego, Seattle and Chicago. The company announced that it will use the latest funding to expand to more markets and invest in its proprietary infrastructure.

Orrick has advised Clutter since its inception, led by Santa Monica-based partner Andrew Erskine and associate Michael Ingram, as well as partner Anik Guha.

Anik has advised companies on hundreds of financing transactions, dozens of mergers and acquisitions, and numerous strategic and governance matters.

Anik’s clients include Betterment, Blokable, Carrot Fertility, Clutter, Confluent, Convoy, Desmos, Expanse, Frontier Car Group, GoldieBlox, HashiCorp, Heap, HingeTo, Hustle, Inspire Energy, Jibe, Lambda School, Mux, Mylio, Nanotronics Imaging, Oiselle, Pinterest, Sourcegraph, Two Chairs and Waking Up. Anik is on the advisory board of Peer Resources, an organization that serves high school and middle school students in the San Francisco Unified School District. A native Ohioan and former New Yorker, Anik now lives with his family in Berkeley.
