Bailey Higgs

Bailey is an associate in Orrick's Capital Markets team based in Seattle, Washington. She focuses on capital markets transactions, including representing issuers in initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and tender offers and advising clients on corporate governance and securities law compliance matters. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, advising nonprofits on incorporation and compliance with state and federal laws. A particular area of focus in her pro bono practice is on Ukraine; she assists Ukrainian refugee clients with immigration matters and serves on a national counsel devoted to assisting the Ukrainian government with war crimes prosecution. 

Bailey graduated from the University of Washington School of Law. Prior to law school, she spent years working in clinical research, overseeing nationwide clinical trials in, among other things, oncology research.
