  • Global Competition Review (GCR) has shortlisted Regeneron v. Amgen for “Matter of the Year – Non-Cartel Prosecution,” recognizing Orrick’s role as co-counsel in securing a $407 million jury verdict for our client Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, ensuring that patients continue to have access to Regeneron’s lifesaving, cholesterol-reducing drug Praluent.
  • The Orrick team representing Regeneron was led by head of Global Antitrust Litigation Eric Hochstadt and included Allen Davis, Anne Corbett and Erin Tison. The jury trial win for Regeneron earned Litigators of the Week top honors for the co-counsel team in American Lawyer.
  • This year’s GCR’s Top 100 rankings also feature recommendations for our Paris competition practice, led by Patrick Hubert, and our Washington, D.C. antitrust team, led by Amy Ray.
  • Among the Orrick matters highlighted in the GCR 100 are a landmark victory for Equativ when the Paris Commercial Court ordered Google to pay €26.8 million in damages and the firm’s co-counsel to Microsoft in the remedies phase of the DOJ’s Google search case.
