Congratulations to our client Dream Games, the Istanbul-based mobile gaming company behind the hit Royal Match game, on its $255 million Series C round. Dream Games has gone from pre-product launch to $2.75 billion valuation in two years and almost trebled its value in six months.
The Series C financing – the company’s third equity raise in the past year – was led by Index Ventures alongside fellow existing investors Makers Fund, IVP, Kora and Balderton Capital, while Blackrock participated as a new investor. This round brings the total amount raised by Dream Games to $468 million.
The Orrick team was led by James Connor and included Emma Cameron. They worked alongside a team led by Emre Ozer at Gen, Temizer & Ozer (part of Kinstellar) who provided local law Turkish advice. Orrick previously advised Dream Games on its Series A and Series B rounds, both of which were the largest in Turkish history.
