日本語Orrick Library Seminar Series - EU法の新しい潮流:日本企業への影響

Orrick's Global Japan Practice is hosting a series of "Orrick Library" events, both offline and online, to explore legal issues in various fields in Japan as well as the United States, Asia and Europe. The next webinar will be held on Thursday, July 20 from 9:30 am to 10:45 am (Japan time).

Despite a continuous interest in globalization and its open markets, new issues and challenges have also surged, leading to various legislative changes in the European Union (EU) that are expected to affect businesses worldwide. Our EU law specialist Patrick Hubert, partner in Orrick’s Paris office with deep knowledge on EU law, will discuss the recent developments regarding the legal reforms in Europe and offer his views based on decades of legal experience and innovation in both private practice and government.

This webinar will cover the following topics:

  • Are the new laws “anti-globalization” laws?
  • What are the consequences for Japanese companies active in the EU?
  • Are there more risks or more opportunities?
  • How to adjust and be prepared

Date: Thursday, July 20, 9:30 am – 10:45 am (Japan time)
