Dr. Sven Greulich, partner at Orrick's Düsseldorf office, is a technology lawyer specializing in complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments and general corporate counseling.

Sven advises technology companies of all stages and their investors along their growth trajectory. Supported by a multijurisdictional and cross-functional team, he also counsels major corporations on their European expansion projects.

Sven helps his clients get to where they need to be quickly through one-stop access to the resources of a global law firm and an international network of corporates and investors. In particular, he wants to build for his clients a bridge between Germany, Silicon Valley and other global technology hubs and help them succeed in the international market.

His dual background in business and law, entrepreneurial zeal and the experience of more than 100 M&A transactions and financing rounds across many industries (including energy, automotive, information technology, commerce and life science) combine to give him a uniquely broad perspective and inspire creativity to find the best strategic and commercially viable solution for his clients.

Sven routinely volunteers his time with entrepreneur groups and frequently lectures at the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management.

In 2017, he received the "Acritas Star Lawyer" award from the leading international legal research company Acritas based on clients' praise for Sven's responsiveness and business-oriented advise.
