Stephanie Albrecht is a Managing Associate in Orrick’s Sacramento office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Group.  Ms. Albrecht’s practice focuses on white collar criminal defense and corporate investigations and complex commercial civil litigation.

Ms. Albrecht’s recent engagements include the following:

  • In a trade secret misappropriation trial in the Eastern District of California, obtained a jury verdict for client Sierra Railroad Company on all its claims, resulting in a federal jury award of US$22.3 million in compensatory damages and US$17.4 million in punitive damages, followed by a court award of US$13.1 million in exemplary damages.
  • Representation of a Fortune 50 Company in connection with internal investigation of potential FCPA violations.
  • Representation of individuals in civil asset forfeiture actions.
  • Representation of global eyewear company in wage-and-hour class action. 

Prior to joining Orrick, Ms. Albrecht was a law clerk in the Antitrust Law Section of the California Attorney General's Office and a staff attorney with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  During law school, Ms. Albrecht served as a law clerk in the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
