We share lessons learned from working with countless start-ups and focus on, amongst others:
- founder equity split and setting-up the company,
- start-up financing (convertible loan and equity financing),
- employee participation programs (virtual and equity-based),
- tax pitfalls,
- data privacy must haves,
- IP must haves, and
- employment law must haves.
These core modules are augmented by additional workshops on topics such as U.S./German holding structures/flips, university spin-offs, and legal aspects to be considered when creating AI business models.
This FLBC series is organized by Orrick together with some of Germany's most renowned technical and entrepreneurial universities' initiatives, in particular RWTH Innovation, WHU Entrepreneurship Center, TUM Venture Labs (Munich and Heilbronn), University of Stuttgart Transfer Center (TRACES) and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
Participation is free of charge.
