Deutsch: FT Innovative Lawyers Report: Orrick schlägt Brücken zwischen Silicon Valley und Deutschland

For the fourth year in a row, Orrick has been recognized by the Financial Times in its annual Innovative Lawyers Report Europe:

  • Our work to connect start-ups with Germany’s Mittelstand (mid-sized companies) was named a standout “for making bridges between Silicon Valley and Germany” in the Supporting Start-Ups category. Orrick partner Sven Greulich was commended for his role leading these efforts.
  • Our creation of a new insolvency restructuring plan for SoLocal after shareholders rejected the original, described as “a first for modern restructurings in France”, was recognized as a standout in the Managing Complexity and Scale category. Orrick partners Saam Golshani and Stephen Phillips led the Orrick teams involved in this matter.
  • Our use of a forced sale provision in France to sell and restructure Consolis, which marked the first time a forced sale mechanism embedded in an LBO agreement had actually been implemented, was commended in the Driving Value category. The Orrick team was led by Saam Golshani.

Overall, our team was ranked #25 among the most innovative firms in Europe and among the top five U.S.-origin firms. In 2016, FT named Orrick the #1 most innovative law firm in North America.
