Jonathan advises clients on all aspects of corporate tax, with a focus on corporate and finance transactions, M&A, corporate restructurings and reorganisations, and investment structures.

Jonathan leads the London Tax team, and his practice is both transactional and advisory. He has extensive experience of UK, cross-border and international tax matters across a variety of business sectors, with a particular focus on Technology & Innovation, Energy & Infrastructure, and Finance.

Jonathan is qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

    • Advised LoopMe, a brand-focused mobile advertising platform, on its $120 million investment from Mayfair Equity Partners.
    • Advised Marlin Equity Partners on closing its acquisition of a minority interest in SmartCredit Limited (t/a "SmartSearch").
    • Advised Vitech Systems Group Inc. on its majority stake acquisition by CVC Capital Partners.
    • Advised CANAL+ on its acquisition of ROK Studios from Iroko, one of Nigeria’s largest internet and entertainment companies.
    • Advised National Australia Bank Limited in its investment into the US$6 million Series C Financing of Digital Shadows, a London based company that developed cyber threat protection platform designed to minimize digital risk and improve cyber situational awareness.
    • Advised Vostok New Ventures and Kinnevik on their investments in the $500 million Series C round of financing in Babylon Health, the largest-ever digital health raise in Europe.
    • Advised Cloudpipes Group Ltd and its shareholders on the completion of its sale to Quickbase UK Ltd.
    • Advised the private seller in the sale of its 70% stake in Bio Collectors Holdings to JLEN.
