Butternut Box, the UK's first fresh dog food company, has acquired PsiBufet, a Polish company that offers individually tailored fresh food for dogs. The acquisition allows Butternut Box to scale its operations in Europe.
Orrick advised Dogmates Ltd., trading as Butternut Box, on its acquisition of Feedwell sp. z o.o., a company that trades as PsiBufet. Terms were not disclosed. Orrick worked with Polish law firm Kondracki Celej on this transaction.

This transaction marks a pivotal moment in Butternut Box’s goal to become Europe’s No. 1 pet food company. The acquisition enables Butternut Box to expand to Central and Eastern Europe, with Poland serving as a regional hub for the group's operations, Butternut Box said.
“This acquisition allows us to scale our operations in Europe and bring the Butternut Box experience to even more dog owners and their beloved dogs,” Glynn said.
Nolan said Butternut Box has been “extremely impressed” with PsiBufet. “We are pleased that together we will be able to take care of dogs' health and happiness in Poland, and all over Europe,” he said.
