Orrick represented affiliates of private investment firm, Ardian Infrastructure, in its approximately 41.9% acquisition of the Hill Top Energy Center, a 620 MW natural gas-fired power plant in Greene County, PA from funds managed by the Infrastructure and Power Strategy arm of Ares Management.
When construction is complete in mid-2021, the Hill Top Energy Center will sell capacity and energy to the Pennsylvania-Jersey-Maryland (PJM) regional transmission organization, the largest competitive power market in the United States.
The team was led by Christopher Gladbach, and included Dahl Thompson, James Billard, Erik Swenson, Shani Harmon, Alexandra Guill, Mitchel Pahl, Mason Harry, Bob Lawrence and Cory Lankford.
