Orrick Named to National Law Journal Appellate Hot List for 11th Time

August.30.2022

The National Law Journal has named Orrick to its Appellate Hot List for the 11th time, recognizing our team for another year of high-profile wins in the appellate courts.

In the past year, our Supreme Court and Appellate practice has secured a series of important rulings in matters ranging from protecting intellectual property rights to establishing important precedent in product liability litigation.

The cases include a U.S. Supreme Court decision earlier this year on behalf of our client Unicolors in a copyright battle with fashion giant H&M; two significant rulings overturning hundreds of millions of dollars in judgments against Johnson & Johnson in talc litigation; and the reversal of a $1.2 billion judgment against Kite Pharma in a patent infringement case against Juno Therapeutics in the Federal Circuit.
