Orrick has advised Goodwater Capital on its investment in Tokyo-based mobile financial startup Kyash’s $45 million Series C financing round. Led by Goodwater Capital and Greenspring Associates, the round also included Greyhound Capital, Altos Ventures, Partech Partners, Broadhaven Ventures, Tekton Ventures, JAFCO and Rahul Mehta, Managing Partner of DST Global. This round brings the total funds raised by Kyash to $73 million. Kyash plans to use the funding to further its overall growth strategy and business domain expansion.
