Orrick took home the “Best Use of Technology” award at The American Lawyer’s 2019 Industry Awards for transforming how technology is used in litigation with our “Litigation 2.0” platform.
We’ve long used technology in litigation to assist with document review and process efficiency. But by integrating our platforms and adding incremental technologies, our team now uses data to drive case strategy, management and staffing.
AmLaw lauds the tools we’ve launched “that analyze data to create early warning systems, inform strategy, track trends, price work, automate project management and train artificial intelligence—all to better support the firm’s lawyers and clients.” Litigation 2.0 is the integration of our proprietary case management system CaseStream, which supports a docket of 550 complex cases, with Orrick Analytics, a sophisticated data analysis platform.
In addition to this award, Orrick ranked #4 on The American Lawyer’s A-List for the second year in a row. Last year, AmLaw awarded Orrick with its first-ever Legal Services Innovation Award, noting that "Orrick makes innovation an important part of its approach from top to bottom."
