Orrick Adds M&A Advisor in Paris

  • Bruno Romagnoli joins Orrick’s Paris M&A and private equity team as a partner.
  • Bruno advises both listed and non-listed companies on M&A transactions as well as securities and stock exchange regulations. He will collaborate with Orrick’s Tech and Energy & Infrastructure teams, drawing on his deep experience in those sectors and a strong skill set in capital markets, private equity, restructuring and governance.
  • He joins from Weil, Gotshal & Manges and began his career at Freshfields.
  • Bruno is Orrick’s eighth partner addition in Paris over the past two years, joining Aurélien Loric, leader of our Paris Restructuring practice, tax partner Cécile Mariotti, and private credit advisors Manaf Triqui and Igor Kukhta.

Orrick’s French M&A team recently advised Octopus Energy Generation on the acquisition of two solar projects with a combined capacity of 80 MW from renewable energy company BayWa r.e,. InfraRed Capital Partners on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Proximus Luxembourg Infrastructure, an independent telecommunications tower company in Luxembourg, Sequans Communications on the sale of its 4G IoT business to Qualcomm, and Crossbeam on its cross-border merger with Reveal.
