Law360 today named Orrick a 2021 Sports & Betting Practice Group of the Year, recognizing our pioneering efforts shaping legislation legalizing sports betting in dozens of states around the nation. This is the third time the publication has recognized us as a Sports & Betting Practice Group of the Year.
Our public policy practice represents professional sports leagues and the fantasy sports industry in crafting legislative solutions in the states permitting sports betting, including this past year in states such as New York and Arizona. Law360 last fall also named partner Jeremy Kudon, head of our public practice, an MVP in the Sports & Betting category.
