Orrick announced today that international trade and investment authority Jeanine McGuinness has joined the firm as a partner in Washington, D.C. She joins Orrick from Davis Polk & Wardwell.

Jeanine advises clients in the technology, financial, energy & natural resources and other sectors on requirements such as Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) scrutiny of foreign investment, U.S. economic sanctions, anti-money laundering laws and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. She is ranked highly by Chambers Global for her CFIUS, export control and economic sanctions expertise. Jeanine is also a frequent speaker and writer on U.S. sanctions and anti-money laundering issues and developments.
