Erica is a managing associate within the Securities Litigation, Investigations & Enforcement team in Orrick's New York office.
Erica represents individuals and companies in securities litigation, complex business litigation matters, and regulatory investigations brought by state governments and the SEC. She also has experience handling DOJ investigations.
Prior to joining Orrick, Erica served as a special counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for the Division of Trading and Markets, where she closely collaborated with the Division of Enforcement on broker-dealer related issues in connection with on-going investigations, litigations, and settlements. She also handled matters related to Regulation Crowdfunding, Rule 15a-6, no-action letters, and rulemaking. Before her government service, Erica was a litigation associate at A&O Shearman, and a law clerk for the Christian County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in Ozark, Missouri.
Before law school, Erica worked in business analytics for a Fortune 500 tech company based out of Silicon Valley and handled business-to-business sales in the New York area for a top consumer products good company. She also taught two legal English courses at Universite de Cergy-Paris in Paris, France as an adjunct instructor.
