1Password has acquired Kolide, a next-generation device security solution.

In announcing the acquisition, 1Password CEO Jeff Shiner said the combination would help “ensure that both the device used and every access request are secure.”

David Schwartz, Jamie Baroff, and Catherine Conners led the Orrick team that advised 1Password. The team also included Daniel Forester, John Narducci, Michael Wiesner, Shaya Afshar, Matthew Coleman, Lauren Wall, and Lauren Guilford.
