Orrick Adds Private Equity and M&A Tax Partner in the Bay Area


  • SeoJung Park joins the firm as a tax partner focused on private equity, M&A and venture financing in the tech and life sciences sectors.
  • She is the 13th lateral partner addition to the firm’s transactional practices this year and the 6th partner addition to Orrick’s tax practice since 2021.
  • SeoJung joins Orrick from DLA Piper, where she was a partner, and previously practiced with Simpson Thacher in New York and London.

She also advises private and public companies, banks and financial institutions on the U.S. tax aspects of various financings, capital markets, cross-border mergers and other significant transactions.
