Orrick advised the New York City Health + Hospitals Corporation on its procurement of a guaranteed maximum price construction contract. The GMP contract is a first-of-a-kind for the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation, and was critical to enabling the client to rapidly procure and commence construction of a vital initiative of the Correctional Health Services division of Health + Hospitals. The Correctional Health Services project will be launched at Bellevue Hospital followed by two other locations, and will help improve access to care for persons in the City’s custody.
The team was led by Matthew Neuringer and Young Lee and included Eric Brannock, Marlowe Mitchell, Mariah Johnston and Sarah Forden.
