Orrick has advised Yellowbrick Learning, a higher education services provider, on its acquisition of Animation Mentor, an online education platform designed to offer animation training. Financial terms were not disclosed. In addition, Orrick has counseled Yellowbrick on an investment it has secured from Sony Innovation Fund by IGV, a VC firm formed by Sony, Daiwa Capital and external limited partners.
The Orrick team advising Yellowbrick was led by Larry Kane and includes Andy Bloom, Pete Elias, Joe Urwitz, Ethan Dowling and Allen Babajanian.
