Orrick Advises Nexa3D on Financing Rounds Raising $55 Million

May.21.2021

We advised our client, Nexa3D, the pioneer of ultrafast production-grade polymer 3D printers enabling the next generation in additive manufacturing, in its recent financing rounds, which raised over $55 million in funding to support the company’s operational growth and accelerate the development and commercialization of its products.

The rounds were led by a multi-billion-dollar alternative asset manager and existing investors OurCrowd and Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, with additional participation from new investors. This funding will enable Nexa3D to bolster its manufacturing operations to fulfill increasing customer demand, scale commercial activities worldwide, expand customer acquisition and customer success operations, grow its reseller channel globally, and expedite several new products to market.

The Orrick team advising Nexa3D was led by partner Ellen Ehrenpreis and senior associate Aria Kashefi and included key support from a team of Orrick lawyers and professionals that included John Bautista, Dolph Hellman, Jessica Kim, Albert Vanderlaan, Brett Cooper, Noel Pacheco, Harry Clark, Gregory Hume, Alan Knoll, Evan Hollander, Jonas Robison, Peter Cohn, Lorraine McGowen, Steve Malvey, Stephen Lessard, Deborah Abernathy and Andrew Barlow.
