New York Law Journal Honors Orrick for Pro Bono Leadership

​New York - The New York Law Journal’s fourth annual “Lawyers Who Lead by Example" series recognizes Orrick for its pro bono commitment. The NYLJ touted the firm for the range of Orrick's pro bono efforts impacting communities from Oklahoma to Sub-Saharan Africa, and including New York City.

In a profile of the firm, NYLJ highlighted the Orrick's efforts on behalf of the Calvert Foundation where it is working to "improve healthcare in Africa by tapping the emerging field of impact finance," through its counsel on "the various complexities involved in funding the growth of for-profit medical facilities across Sub-Saharan Africa."

The NYLJ also highlighted the firm’s partnership with Appleseed in its efforts to advocate for district-wide diversity plans for public schools and its veteran advocacy work with the Veterans Discharge Upgrade Program.
