Justice Sotomayor spoke last month at Boston University School of Law’s annual Shapiro Lecture in a wide-ranging conversation with her former clerk and Orrick Supreme Court & Appellate Counsel Cesar Lopez-Morales.

Cesar, BU Law class of ’14, took a leave to clerk with Justice Sotomayor during the October 2023 Term. He previously served with the U.S. Department of Justice.
