Orrick partner Mark Davies was featured in this Q&A with Law.com’s “Skilled in the Art’’ column on the new frontier of litigation involving Artificial Intelligence-related issues. The interview follows Mark's recent publication of a groundbreaking treatise on AI and litigation, Artificial Intelligence: Law and Litigation.
In the interview, Mark discusses issues that may arise in AI litigation, from antitrust and copyright to patents. “One of the things I learned from the book is that litigation is working just fine,” Mark said. “It’s not like you look at the litigation involving artificial intelligence and go, 'Oh wow, there’s a broken system here.' Litigation is working.”
