We advised the HANNOVER Finanz portfolio company Maschinenbau und Service Holding GmbH on the sale of a 24% share in the German work platforms manufacturer TEUPEN Maschinenbau GmbH to Chinese company Zhejiang Dingli Machinery Co, Ltd.

HANNOVER Finanz remains the majority shareholder of TEUPEN through Maschinenbau und Service Holding.

Founded in 1979, HANNOVER Finanz has more than 40 years of experience as an equity capital partner for medium-sized companies. The private equity house, based in Hanover and with an office in Vienna, was one of the first venture capitalists in Germany and the German-speaking region. The HANNOVER Finanz portfolio currently comprises 35 companies.

TEUPEN is the world´s leading manufacturer in the area of aerial work platforms and rubber track chassis. The company, based in Gronau, Germany, has partners and subsidiaries worldwide in Europe, North and South America and Asia.

Dingli, headquartered in Deqing in the Chinese province of Zhejiang, develops, manufactures, sells and services various high-end aerial working platforms and is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The HANNOVER Finanz portfolio company Maschinenbau und Service Holding was advised by an Orrick team led by Munich-based private equity partner Christoph Brenner.

The team also included partner Lars Mesenbrink (antitrust, Düsseldorf) and senior associate Andrea Köhler (M&A and private equity, Munich).
