Orrick advised the shareholders of ProLeiT AG on the sale of the company to France’s Schneider Electric SE. The transaction is still subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities.

Headquartered in Herzogenaurach/Erlangen, Germany, ProLeiT AG is a leading provider of process control technology, automation solutions and process control systems for the brewery, beverage and dairy industries, as well as the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Founded more than 30 years ago, the company has more than 570 employees and subsidiaries in the U.S., Mexico, Brazil, the Netherlands, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria and China.

Schneider Electric SE is a French multinational company providing energy and automation digital solutions for efficiency and sustainability by combining world-leading energy technologies, real time automation, software and services into integrated solutions for homes, buildings, data centers, infrastructures and industries.
