Zachary focuses on environmental law in connection with energy project finance and development, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.

He has experience working on matters related to regulatory compliance, land use, permitting, federal and state environmental review, cultural resources, and endangered species.

Prior to joining Orrick, Zachary was at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.

    • The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in connection with the redevelopment of the Central Terminal Building at New York LaGuardia Airport.
    • Energy Investors Funds and Oregon Clean Energy, LLC in the development of an 869 MW natural gas-fired electric power plant to be built in the City of Oregon, Ohio, named “North American Single-Asset Power Deal of the Year 2014” by IJGlobal
    • Project financings for wind energy projects in California, Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Illinois, Montana, and Utah.
    • Project financings for solar energy developments in California, Texas, Hawaii, Minnesota, North Carolina and New Jersey.
