Adam is a recognized project finance lawyer who regularly advises project investors, sponsors, lenders and ECAs on large and complex projects in ASEAN and beyond.

His deep project finance experience ranges from renewable energy projects to power, oil and gas, LNG, petrochemicals, infrastructure, telecommunications, and water projects in Asia-Pacific, Australia, the Middle East, Russia, South America and in numerous countries throughout Africa.

Adam has an extensive track record in Southeast Asia and is recognized as a leading practitioner in the market. Adam relocated to Singapore in 2025 after spending nearly three decades working in key energy and infrastructure hubs in Asia, including Tokyo, Hong Kong and Vietnam.

    • Developers and sponsors on all aspects of the development, financing, construction and operations of the  Nghi Son 2, Van Phong 1 and Vung Ang 2 BOT power projects in Vietnam.
    • Long Son Petrochemicals and its sponsors on a world scale petrochemicals complex project in Vung Tau province, southern Vietnam.
    • Developers Marubeni and WTO on the O Mon 2 gas-fired power project in Vietnam.
    • Developers GS Energy and VinaCapital on the Long Anh 1 and 2 LNG to power projects in Vietnam.
    • Various lenders, developers and sponsors in relation to wind, solar and hydropower projects in Vietnam, including advising ADB and the Thai commercial lenders on the financing of the first large-scale international project finance transaction for a renewables project in Vietnam (a 50MW utility-scale solar power plant and transmission line in Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Zone) and the sponsors on the development and financing of a 3X48MW wind farm portfolio in Quang Tri province.
    • Vena Energy on the development of a solar power project in Indonesia as part of Singapore’s import electricity scheme.
    • JBIC, KEXIM and NEXI and other lenders on the financing of the ERC refinery in Egypt, the largest refinery project and project financing in Egypt at the time.

    • The Sponsors on the construction and financing aspects of the Donggi-Senoro LNG project in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.
    • Mitsui, Korea Gas Corporation and Samsung Corporation on the development and financing of a USD875m LNG regasification terminal in Manzanillo, Mexico.
    • JBIC, NEXI, KEXIM and other lenders on the financing of the Nghi Son Refinery, the largest refinery project and one of the largest project financings in Vietnam to date.
    • K-EXIM, K-SURE and other lenders on financing the PT Krakatau POSCO integrated steel project in Indonesia.
    • Various Middle Eastern power projects, including advising JBIC, KEXIM and other lenders in connection with the Taweelah B IWPP in the UAE, two bids for the Marafiq IWPP in Saudi Arabia, the Shuqaiq IWPP in Saudi Arabia, the Mesaieed IPP in Qatar and the Neyveli Power project in Tamil Nadu, India.
