Washington, D.C.

Collaborative, creative, and strategic, Julie Castle is an employment litigation associate in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. She helps clients with complex workplace issues resolve high-stakes disputes and reach practical, business-minded outcomes.

Julie handles a broad range of workplace disputes on behalf of clients whose employment matters call for both careful judgment and close attention to detail. Her practice covers wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and independent contractor misclassification claims. She also handles class and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions alleging violations of the California Labor Code. She works to understand each client's business, priorities, and risk tolerance, and she shapes her litigation strategy around them.

A natural team player, Julie works closely with colleagues and clients alike. She believes the strongest results come from open communication and a shared view of the client's goals. She takes a creative, solutions-focused approach to every matter, whether that means finding an early path to resolution or building a strong defense through each stage of litigation.

Julie received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and her B.A. from Arcadia University.
