Rebuild, a startup developing insurance-claim software for restoration contractors, has raised $13 million in new funding.
The round was led by Asymmetric Capital Partners, Gutter Capital, 25madison, Lightbank and Green Egg Ventures.
Orrick advised Rebuild on the transaction.
Founded by Alex Toporek, who grew up in the restoration industry, Rebuild aims to solve the administrative inefficiencies that delay property recovery. The company provides an AI-native operating system designed to reduce claim cycle times and increase reimbursements for restoration contractors.
Rebuild plans to use the new capital to expand its New York City team across engineering, sales, and customer success, as well as to continue expanding its platform capabilities into additional high-friction workflows for restoration contractors.
The Orrick team advising Rebuild was led by Jake Ornstein and includes Dawit Aklilu and Christopher Bulkley.
