Orrick Adds Strategist from Attorney General Alliance to Growing Public Policy Group

  • Alejandra Stephens, who most recently served as a Director at the Attorney General Alliance (AGA), has joined Orrick’s Public Policy Group as a Senior Policy Strategist based in Denver.
  • Alejandra will be a key member of the Orrick team that supports both disruptors and traditional leaders in their relationships with State AGs across all 50 states. She will also assist Orrick clients with state legislative solutions.
  • At the AGA, Alejandra led key initiatives, working closely with AGs and their senior staff, Fortune 500 companies, and trade associations and hyperscaling technology leaders. She has also held roles with the Conference of Western Attorneys General and in the Office of the Colorado Attorney General.
  • Orrick’s Public Policy Group comprises eight partners, including former two-time Washington State AG Rob McKenna; two former Chief Deputy AGs – Andy Cook and Brian Moran; nationally recognized state legislative advisors Jeremy Kudon and Scott Ward; leading authority on youth online safety Nicole Lopez who joined the firm in April after serving as Meta Platforms’ Global Director of Youth Safety Policy; former FTC General Counsel and New York Deputy Solicitor General Anisha Dasgupta; and leading gaming and fintech partners Behn Dayanim and Sarah Koch, as well as 15 other attorneys and policy professionals. The Public Policy Group’s lawyers and strategists bring extensive experience with the government affairs and legal departments of three of the Magnificent 7 companies.
