Our Structured Finance team was recognized by the IFLR Europe Awards for their role advising BNP Paribas, as arranger, on Barings EU MM CLO 2025-1 – a transaction that marked a significant milestone in the European middle market and private credit CLO space.
This transaction, the first CLO in Europe to combine a multi-currency structure (EUR/GBP) with a portfolio focused on private credit assets, received the Impact Deal Award: High Yield and Structured Finance.
Barings EU MM CLO 2025-1 is the third European middle market/private credit CLO ever issued, and its innovative dual-currency approach sets a new standard for structured finance in the region.
