Orrick Grows New York Infrastructure Team

  • Dan Shapiro joins Orrick’s Energy & Infrastructure practice as a partner in New York. Dan is an infrastructure sector advisor who represents sponsors, developers, institutional investors, lenders and underwriters in connection with projects in a wide array of infrastructure asset classes, including airports, toll roads, rail, chemical and water.
  • A Chambers-recognized public-private partnerships (P3/PPP) practitioner, Dan brings deep experience in financing transactions, including secured and unsecured credit facilities, TIFIA financings, project bond offerings (including private activity bonds) and private placements. His practice encompasses both greenfield development and secondary market transactions.
  • Dan joins from Winston & Strawn. He joins an Orrick team that ranks No. 1 for P3s globally (Inframation) and was named a 2025 Law360 Practice Group of the Year in both construction and energy.
