Orrick has advised Aptean, a global provider of mission-critical enterprise software solutions, on the acquisition of Modula Gesellschaft für digitale Transformation mbH, a market leader in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems solutions for the German-speaking manufacturing market, from funds managed by Alpina Capital Partners and private shareholders.

Aptean is one of the world’s leading providers of industry-specific software and offers ERP, supply chain and compliance solutions. Ettlingen, Germany-based Modula is an IT strategy partner and solution provider for the manufacturing industry that supports mid-market companies on their way to digital transformation.

Aptean was advised by an international Orrick team led by Munich-based private equity partner Christoph Brenner, who earlier this year advised Aptean on their acquisition of Hamburg-based agiles.
