Orrick’s Paris team was recently featured in an article examining innovative recruitment methods at law firms in the French magazine L’AGEFI Hebdo.
Alexandra de Bonneval, our European Director of Talent, spoke with the magazine about the unique recruitment initiatives in our Paris office. These include the annual Horizon event, in which promising law students are invited to the Paris office to see a presentation on the firm, have the opportunity to engage in job dating and Q&A sessions, and enjoy cocktails and informal discussions with our partners, associates and current interns. Alexandra noted, “The goal is that students can go ‘behind the scenes’ of Orrick in Paris.”
The print edition of the magazine also features an interview with Orrick managing associate Alicia Bali about her experiences at Orrick’s European Managing Associates Academy. Alicia described the three-day academy’s objective as being “to give us the keys to evolve at Orrick and allow us to develop skills understanding of our clients and of the world in which they evolve.” The academy also gives associates across all of our offices in Europe the opportunity to get to know each other.
