Congratulations to our employment law partner Lynne Hermle who was recently recognized for her achievements over the past year.
Lynne was named one of Silicon Valley's Women of Influence for 2013 by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. This list recognizes outstanding women professionals in high-level positions affecting change in their industries and communities.
Euromoney Legal Media Group also recognized Lynne and honored her with the Americas Women in Business Law Award: Best in Labor and Employment. Winners were selected based on their professional accomplishments, as well as advocacy and influence within their practice area over the past year.
Lynne is consistently recognized as one of the best employment lawyers in the country. Her record in wage-and-hour class actions – bucking the trend and consistently defeating class certification or obtaining summary judgment – is unparalleled. Lynne also focuses on discrimination, harassment and retaliation matters, including a high-profile discrimination and retaliation action for Kleiner Perkins brought by a current female partner at the storied venture capital firm. Under her belt this past year - a complete and unanimous defense verdict for Genentech in a jury trial case alleging disability discrimination and related claims, and wage-and-hour class action victories for Sears and Morgan Stanley.
