November.12.2012

Orange County Intellectual property counsel Davin Stockwell and legal assistant Annie Chen are assisting our client BRAC, a development organization dedicated to alleviating poverty by empowering the poor to bring about change in their own lives, in connection with a class of trademark filings.  BRAC was founded in Bangladesh in 1972 and over the course of its evolution, has established itself as a pioneer in recognizing and tackling the many different realities of poverty.  BRAC produces incredible positive social gains across the world--in terms of, among other things, numbers of jobs created, educational and health care programs created and legal justice training and services.  BRAC operates in some of the most economically challenged places on earth in Asia, Africa and the Americas.
