If quarantine is attributable to an employee's conduct, absence is unjustified and the consequent dismissal is legitimate

This employment alert analyzes the recent judgement (dated January 21st, 2021) issued by the Court of Trento according to which it is lawful the dismissal for just cause of an employee who - knowingly - puts himself in the condition of being forced into the 14-day quarantine provided for by the Covid-19 legislation, thus being absent from the workplace.
