Max Cantor is a partner with Orrick's global Technology Companies Group.

Max provides strategic advice and counsel to startup founders, high-growth technology companies, venture capital and private equity funds, and strategic acquirors in connection with planning and executing a variety of corporate transactions.

He has extensive experience in a broad range of domestic and cross-border corporate and transactional matters, including venture capital and growth equity financings, mergers & acquisitions, corporate formation and governance matters, fund formation, and SPAC transactions.

Max also works closely with clients to provide strategic business insights and outside general counsel services, advising clients on day-to-day corporate governance and boardroom matters, equity compensation and employee incentive structures, intellectual property protection and licensing, and general commercial matters.
