Orrick Advises Upkeep on $36 Million Series B Financing Round

Orrick has advised UpKeep, a Los Angeles-based provider of enterprise maintenance management software, on its $36 million Series B funding round. Insight Partners led the round and was joined by current investors Emergence Capital, Battery Ventures, YC, Mucker Capital and Fundersclub. 

UpKeep is transforming the way frontline and deskless technicians manage their work and collaborate by replacing tedious paperwork and outdated systems with an easy-to-use mobile app. As a software solution designed with the technician at the forefront, UpKeep is focused on innovation to empower technicians to keep their facilities safe and help managers retain business in a changing global health and economic climate.  

Orrick has advised Upkeep on various matters since its inception, including its Series A financing round, as well as general corporate and employee benefits matters and data privacy compliance. The Orrick team advising Upkeep was led by John Bautista, John Harrison and Hector Rodriguez, and included Steven Malvey, Daniel Yost, Janice Dow, Mike Yang, Mike Wiesner, Blake Ilstrup, Christian Schröder, Emily Tabatabai, Barrie VanBrackle and Andrew Barlow.
