December.03.2019

We advised Eurofiber, a Dutch-Belgian digital infrastructure specialist and subsidiary of Antin Infrastructure Partners, on its acquisitions of three French companies: Eurafibre, ATE – Avenir Télématique and Eura DC.

All based in Lille, the three companies have a deep presence in northern France in fiberoptic connectivity, cloud and managed services, and server hosting services in colocation datacenters. They operate more than 2,000 km of fiberoptic network and two local datacenters, serving 150 business parks and 200 municipalities. Acquiring these companies will help Eurofiber accelerate its European growth strategy.

Orrick's team was led by Patrick Tardivy and included Amaury Berbille, Florent Lewkowicz and Lionel Simonet on M&A aspects; Jean-Luc Champy, Quirec de Kersauson and Camille Fouqué on public law aspects; Marie-Laure Combet, Lena Boucon, Elise Durand, Maxence Jonvel and Martin Ellie on competition law aspects; and Emmanuel Bénard, Chek-Lhy Luu and Léo Theillac on employment law aspects.
