Orrick has advised DRACOON, the German market leader in enterprise file sharing, on a Series B financing round. Investors include Swiss investment company FBC Partners AG, two private equity investors, and the investment company of Bernhard Wendeln. In addition, existing investor BayBG increased its investment commitment.

Based in Regensburg, Bavaria, DRACOON is the enterprise file sharing market leader in the German-speaking region and is one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in Germany. The highly secure, platform-independent software has been certified to highest security standards ISO 27001, EuroPriSe, and ULD. DRACOON's customers include companies such as Deutsche Telekom, KfW Bank, Rossmann, and British Telecom. With the high single-digit million-euro capital increase, the company will further expand its activities.

DRACOON was advised by an Orrick team led by Munich-based M&A and private equity partner Thomas Schmid, who regularly advises investors and startups on financing rounds.
